PCA Committee

The PCA Committee currently has eleven members, made up of three honorary officers and eight committee members, one of whom is the trader representative. Details of the PCA Committee are given below.

 

Officers

Chairman - Tim Sumpter

Tim joined the committee in 2000 and has worked with the council on playground improvement and provision of the basketball court. He is also involved in the Fast Forward youth initiative.

Secretary - Debbie Edwards

Debbie joined the Committee in 2004, taking over from Lynda Pullman.

Treasurer - Mike Blake

Mike, a Chartered Accountant, joined the Committee in 2004, taking over from Eleanor Hernan.

 

Committee Members

John Bird

John runs the PCA website and leads the PCA planning and environment subcommittee.  He previously served as membership secretary from 2000 to 2004.

Beth Gregory

Beth joined the Committee in June 2006 and has assumed responsibility for the PCA's public and press relations.  She is also actively involved with the events team.

Dean Horridge

Dean joined the Committee in September 2004, having previously been actively involved in Party In The Park.  Dean regularly organises the Pitshanger Fun Run.

Karen Jacks

Karen joined the Committee in November 2006 and has become involved in both the events team and the planning and environment subcommittee.

Ann Khoshaba

Ann joined the Committee as trader representative in March 2008.  As well as being the proprietor of Cinnamon in Pitshanger Lane, Ann is also a Pitshanger resident, living close to the Lane.

Michelle Scupholme

Michelle joined the Committee in November 2006 and is a member of the PCA membership team & events team.

Pam Walker

Pam joined the Committee in November 2006, taking over responsibility for the PCA membership records from Barbara Boyle.

Dave Wallis

Dave has carved out two niches for himself, one as PCA Newsletter Editor and the other as organiser of the Arena events at Party In The Park.  Dave joined the Committee in 2000.
