Pitshanger PopStar

Stop Press:  The last chance to audition for Pitshanger PopStar 2009 is on Saturday 16th May, 10am to 2pm at the Methodist Church Hall in Pitshanger Lane.  Details on the PopStar Info page.

Pitshanger PopStar is a singing competition for young performers, between the ages of 8 – 16 years old, living, attending clubs or going to school in the Pitshanger and Cleveland ward area of Ealing.

This year’s event is going to be bigger and better than ever. We have put together some photos from last year and your chance to enter Pitshanger PopStar 2009.

Pitshanger PopStar has been busy this past year securing funding from Capital Radio’s Help A London Child and the Metropolitan Police Cleveland Safer Neighbourhood’s Team (Ealing Community Police Consultative Group Fund) to enable us to welcome young people beyond the Pitshanger boundaries and to set up workshops addressing themes such as presentation, vocal coaching, make-up, costuming, sound and lighting and show production.

The Pitshanger PopStar final will be held at Party in the Park, in Pitshanger Park on 28th June 2009.
