PCA Grants

Surpluses generated by PCA events, due to the hard work of our volunteers and events team, and the support from our members and local businesses now total over £90,000 since 2010.

None of the surpluses from the events go towards the cost of running the PCA, which is a charity.  Surpluses from the event enable the PCA to

  • hold an annual tea party for our older members - afternoon tea with style at the Brentham Club since 2009

  • subsidise the weekly Monday tea club for older people - run in partnership with the Pitshanger Methodist church - now running for 3 years

  • have a bi-annual Lucky Dip for members

  • contribute £4,000 towards the purchase of new Christmas lights for the lane in 2015

  • run an Annual Awards scheme providing help and assistance to local charities and good causes
