  • CPZ Plan Rejected

    A massive NO vote in the Council's controlled parking zone consultation means there won't be a CPZ in the Pitshanger area for the foreseeable future. The crucial vote in the core consultation area was 27% in favour and 73% against. Pro-CPZ votes in Montpelier Avenue and Castlebar Hill have been dismissed by Council Officers as "not substantial and generally too insufficient to consider control in these roads".
  • Half Marathon To Visit Pitshanger

    The recently announced route for the second Ealing Half Marathon will bring thousands of runners through the heart of Pitshanger on Sunday 29th September. After starting in Lammas Park at 9.15am, the runners will approach Pitshanger via Mount Avenue and continue via Woodfield Road, Pitshanger Lane, Curzon Road, Meadvale Road, Pitshanger Park, Woodbury Park Road, Scotch Common Kent Avenue and Cleveland Road.

    As ever, the biggest summer date to note in your diaries is Party In The Park, which will take place this year on Sunday 30th June.  This event is run by a group of volunteers, and there are always opportunities to help in a wide variety of ways, from programme sales, site set-up and clear-down, pulling pints in the beer tent, assisting the stage manager and the list goes on.  If you could spare some time
