    The closing date for this year’s round of discretionary cash award applications is Friday 7th December.  Local organisations and charities are invited to nominate projects for these one-off awards; please note we will consider new applications from previous recipients of PCA awards but they must not be for projects that we’ve already funded.  An application form and eligibility guidelines can be obtained from the address at the end of this newsletter or via download
  • River Brent Clean Up

    The working party organised by river conservation charity Thames21 on 23rd October included eleven volunteers who turned up as a direct result of publicity in last month’s newsletter.  PCA members Ingrid Waloff and Zillah Myers enjoyed the experience, Ingrid reporting that “… all equipment was provided - boots, thick socks, gloves, pickers, bags, pruners.  This time activities included not just litter picking but also bulb planting and scrubland pruning, so we got a choice,...
